Yet Another Honor for Ionescu
Sabrina Ionescu continues to garner awards for her achievements this past year. The latest to be added to the list is the Senior CLASS award. The award goes annually to the outstanding Division I senior athlete. CLASS is an acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School. the award is voted on by Division I women’s basketball coaches, the national media and fans. Fellow senior Ruthy Hebard was also a finalist for the award.
Ionescu, Hebard, and Sabally will learn tomorrow if they were selected to the 10 player WBCA all America team.
