Sport Schedule…Still Pending, But Hopeful
There is not a whole lot to report in the local sports world. Schools are still in the process of planning for a new school year with so many unknowns. Florence is hoping to move into Phase two of the governor’s reopening plan next week, but that is still a long way off to determining what the new school year will look like and if there will be sports involved. Siuslaw Football coaches continue to plan to begin the season on September 4th. Academically though the school is still struggling with what the budget will look like and what outside funds will be available. That could likely effect the upcoming sports schedules as well.
