Covid 19 closes Florence Business

Dutch Bros popular Florence location closed for deep cleaning after two employees tested positive for Covid 19.  Both employee’s test results came back on Tuesday prompting business owners to follow CDC  protocols and close down the 21st and Highway 101 location, while Dutch Bros Incorporated sent out a news release informing many of the situation at the Florence store.

Both employees worked shifts over the weekend prior to the return of their test results.  One employee worked the morning shift on Friday, July 17th and Saturday July 18th and an afternoon on Sunday.  The second employee worked the day shift Saturday and evening shift Sunday.  Both employees are self-isolating for 14 days.

Dutch Bros had already enforced health authority Covid 19 standards by requiring face masks, increased hand washing, instituted a cashless payment system and closed the location to walk ups.

The Boys and Girls Club of Western Lane County closed their Teen Center out of an abundance of precaution to allow for deep cleaning.  A Teen Center staff member has had potential contact with a Covid 19 case. The closure does not affect any other Boys and Girls Club functions.
