OSU/UO Address Sports

Vice president and director of athletics at Oregon State University, Scott Barnes, wrote the Beaver Nation a letter in which he stated that the Pac-12 exhausted all options for the fall before cancelling the season of all sports.  Barnes said that there was no safe pathway for student-athletes, coaches, and staff to compete.  Barnes says that in the coming weeks they will address those who renewed season tickets for football.  The school is currently working on three options for ticket holders.  Barnes did not name the options in his letter, but did say that they will come with additional incentives.

The University of Oregon also addressed the Pac-12’s decision but did not specifically mention what plans were in the works for season ticket holders.
