Hayward Field Revealed
It has been a long time coming but the university of Oregon is ready to unveil the new Hayward field today. When asked about the unveiling head track coach Robert Johnson said it was like buying a new car and having it sitting in your driveway and you didn’t have the keys to drive it. Training and competing at the new facility were supposed to begin last spring, but the covid-19 pandemic changed all of that. Today team members will get the first look, but the general public can only follow along on social media channels. Some of the team has been able to work out on the track, but today the rest of the facility will be revealed including the interior workings of the locker rooms, offices, lounges and the history section located in Hayward Hall. Johnson says today will be like Christmas Morning.
Pac-12 Set To Announce Schedules
The Pac-12 has announced that it will reveal the schedule for the 2020 football season tomorrow. The announcement will likely be released during the morning pregame show on ESPN and Fox Sports. Each team will be scheduled to play its 5 division opponents with division winners meeting on December 19th for the conference title game.
