Ducks Evaluating: Beavers Quiet

The Oregon Ducks have four practices under their belts as the Pac-12 grows closer to its target start date in November.  Head Coach Mario Cristobal says there is still plenty of time to evaluate the talent on the field.  In yesterday’s practice position coach Alex Mirabal was moving players around in different positions to try to assess the best starters for the Ducks.  Players like junior Alex Forsyth primarily played at the center position, but he says wherever he needs to play to help the team win is where he wants to be.  The Duck coaches believe in having the right chemistry along with having the right talent in place.

It has been about a week since OSU’s head football coach, Jonathan Smith spoke to the media.  The Beavers have been on the field since Friday, but have not prepared any media updates.  Smith said last week when he met with the media that they are happy to be back on the field, but not much more has come from the Beaver Camp since last Friday.
