Cal Handles Ducks
The Cal Bears got their first win of the season on the backs of the Oregon Ducks. The Bears scored early in the 3rd quarter to take a 21 – 17 lead in the game on Saturday and that would be the final points scored in the game. The Ducks lost two fumbles in the second half and turned the ball over on downs failing to convert a 4th down. The Ducks fall to 3-2 on the season and finish up against Washington this weekend.
Utes Over Beavers
The Oregon State Beavers also lost to Utah over the weekend. The Beavers were down 30-10 in the fourth quarter and battled back with 2 touchdowns but ran out of time. The Beavers finish out the season with Stanford on Saturday.
Cowboys Lasso Beavers
In college hoops the Beavers lost to the Wyoming Cowboys 76-73 last night, they are 2-2 on the season. The Ducks defeated Seton Hall on Friday 83-70.
Duck and Beaver Women Win
The Oregon Duck women have started their season 4-0 after defeating the Utah Utes last night 85-43 Te-hina Paopao and Erin Boley each contributed 17 in the win.
The beaver women start their season 3-0. They defeated the Colorado Buffaloes last night 70-53. Aleah Goodman led the Beavers with 24.
