Saturday’s Game in Jeopardy
According to reports out there is a possibility that the game between the Oregon Ducks and the Washington Huskies may not happen. Washington halted all football operations yesterday due to an increase in COVID-19 cases among its football program. The social media platform Reddit was among the first to report the issue and within an hour major sports and news sources were dolling out the news. Without the game the Oregon Ducks will lose the opportunity to return as reigning Pac-12 Champions. Washington officials say they will distribute more information as it becomes available.
Ducks Defeat Rattlers
The Oregon Duck Men’s basketball team hosted Florida A&M last night at Matthew Knight Arena. The Ducks handily defeated the Rattlers 87-66 holding all 5 A&M starters to single digit scoring. N’faly Dante had 22 for the Ducks and Chris Duarte led the team with 23. Two other Ducks were also in double figures.
The Ducks are set to take on Washington on Saturday in Seattle.
The Oregon State Beavers are scheduled to take on the Portland Pilots this evening in Corvallis beginning at 4:30 on KCFM.
The Lady Ducks and Beavers will match up on Saturday.
