Ducks End Home Win Streak

Time off due to the coronavirus did not help the Oregon Ducks.  On Saturday the Ducks hosted in state rivals Oregon State and was outgunned by the Beavers.  the 75-64 loss also cut short the home win streak that the Ducks had.  The streak ends at 28.  For the Beavers Ethan Thompson put up 19 on the night, most of those points coming from the free-throw line.  Thompson was only 4 for 14 from the field, but 12 for 14 from the line.  Junior forward Warith Alatishe pulled down 16 rebound for the beavers and added 14 points in the win.  Eugene Omoruyi led the Ducks with 15 points and 9 rebounds.

Lady Beavers Fall in Double OT

On Sunday the OSU women took Washington State to double overtime, but fell short of getting the victory as the Cougars came out on top 77-75.  Senior guard Aleah Goodman put up 33 points for the Beavers in the loss.

Lady Ducks Victorious

In Eugene it was a different outcome for the Lady Ducks as they defeated the Washington Huskies 69-52.  The ducks got some help off the bench from freshman guard Sydney Parrish who scored 12 and senior forward Lydia Giomi brought down 10 rebounds.
