Athlete of the Week

The Sports Club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulate Siuslaw volleyball senior Kya Blake.  In the win against Elmira last week, Kya had 13 kills in one set that led the way to the win along with 19 total kills for a two game total and had 6 service aces.

Honorable mention goes to junior Rylee Colton in her first place finish at the Bandon Fugate Farms XC Challenge.  Finishing the race in 19:39.59

Volleyball

Siuslaw Volleyball will be on the court this evening at Cottage Grove with JV starting at 5 and Varsity at 6:45

Soccer

Siuslaw Soccer will also be on the field at Cottage Grove, JV at 4:30 and Varsity at 6:30

NCAA Women’s Bracket

The NCAA women’s tournament bracket was released yesterday and the Oregon Ducks are the 6^th seed and will take on South Dakota on Monday March 22.  And the Oregon State Beavers are ranked 8 and will face the 9^th seeded Florida State Seminoles on Sunday.
