Siulsaw Defeats Sisters

The Siuslaw Vikings put a check in the win column on Friday against sisters.  The Vikings, with a small crowd in attendance, put together several drives with thte leadership of QB Elijah Blankenship, who passed for two touchdowns and ran for a third.  Skyler Loomis also added two rushing touchdowns as the Vikings beat the Outlaws 36-19.  Vikings are now 2-2 on the season.

Mapleton Volleyball

Mapleton Sailors Volleyball battle tough in a 3 set loss to Alsea on Saturday.  Coach Molly Dooley says the girls never gave up, losing 6-25, 17-25, and 13-25.

Beavers Make the Elite 8

The Oregon State Beavers continue to impress in the College Dance defeating Loyola Chicago on Saturday.  Near the end Loyola came within 3 points of the Beavers, but couldn’t get past the defense to break through for the lead.  Final score 65-58.  The Beavers take on Houston this afternoon in the Elite 8.  Pregame begins at 3:30 on KCFM.

Beaver No Hitter

The Oregon State Beaver’s baseball team took a pair of games from the Washington Huskies over the weekend including a 3-0 no hitter on Friday with 3 different pitchers contributing.  Sunday’s game was postponed until today due to weather

Ducks Defeat Arizona

The Oregon Ducks after losing two to Arizona bounced back on Sunday defeating the wildcats 18-13

Trojans Advance to Elite 8 Over Ducks

The Oregon Ducks couldn’t get past their sweet 16 opponent the USC Trojans last night in Indianapolis.  The Ducks were behind in double digits for most of the game but clawed back but ran out of time as Trojans set their sights on the Elite 8.  Eugene Omoruyi led the Ducks with 28 and Chris Duarte added 21 in the 82-68 loss.
