Viking Volleyball
The Siuslaw Viking volleyball team fought a tough match against the league leading Junction City Tigers. The Vikings fell in straight sets at home to a small crowd. 25-10, 25-19, and 25-23
The Vikings are now 4-4 on the season. The finish off the season with two matches, the first one this evening against Marshfield will be played in Reedsport and then Cottage Grove tomorrow will be at home.
Viking Soccer
The Viking Soccer team was on the field against Elmira. The score was tied in the second half after a goal by Yoskar De La Mora but Elmira was able to score another goal for the 3-2 win. Coach Londi Tomaro says now that the season is done they will celebrate the team, take a bit of a break and then get back to training for next season.
Tomorrow the Sky-Em League will hold its cross Country Championships at Marist High School.
