Siuslaw Defeats Cottage Grove in Season Finale

It was senior night for Siuslaw Volleyball last night and the lone senior Kya Blake stepped up for the match against Cottage Grove.  It was a tight first game with Cottage Grove taking it 23-25, but the next 3 sets the Vikings pressed forward and fought tough to take the next 3 sets 25-22, 25-21, 27-25.  Coach Ashlee Cole said that Kya Blake had the final kill on the final point of the match which she said was fitting for the senior to go out like that.  Desiree Tupua had 24 kills in the match.  The Vikings end the season with a winning record at 6-4.
