Viking Softball
The Siuslaw Viking softball team had their first game on Tuesday. The team traveled to Cottage Grove. The Lions dominated the Vikings 17-3. The Viks are scheduled for a double header tomorrow at home against Elmira. The games begin at 1:30.
Viking Baseball
Tomorrow the Viking boys will also be hosting Elmira for a double header. There will be limited seating available and tickets can be reserved on the school’s website. KCST will be broadcasting the double header beginning at 2:45.
Ducks Defeat Pilots
The Oregon Ducks were on the field against Portland yesterday. The Ducks put up a 9 run 3rd inning on their way to an 18-1 victory. Freshman Josh Kasevich also added a 3 run homer in the 5th. The ducks are now 20-7 overall and are ranked 14th by the AP
OSU Vs. Cal
Oregon State takes the field tomorrow in Corvallis to host a 3 game series against the Cal Bears. The Bears are 18-13 overall and 5-4 in Pac-12 play. Game time on KCFM begins with a 5pm pregame. Saturday’s game begins at 1pm and Sunday’s game starts at 11:30.
