Ducks Double Up on San Jose State
The Oregon Ducks have finished up their 2 game series against San Jose State easily handling the Spartans. Last night the Ducks had 3 multi-run innings including a 5 run 5th inning that started with a walk and a sacrifice fly before a barrage of hits including a triple, a pair of doubles and a single. The Ducks Scored 13 runs overall. The Spartans managed one run on a Ruben Ibarra homer in the 6th. final 13-1 Ducks.
Beavers Defeat Loyola Marymount
The Beavers also finished up their mid-week sweep of Loyola Marymount. The Beavers were down 3-1 in the 7th until the field opened up for them where several singles, a couple of throwing errors and a sacrifice bunt brought in 7 runs in the inning. Beavers won 8-5.
The Beavers next opponent are the UCLA Bruins beginning tomorrow evening. Game one of the three game series begins at 6:30 on KCFM.
The Ducks begin a three game series in Pullman against the cougars of Washington State.
