The Siuslaw Vikings are on the diamond this afternoon for a double header against the Pirates in Coos Bay. Pregame on KCST is at 2:45, first pitch from Marshfield is at 3 o’clock.
The Lady Viks take on the Pirates in a softball double header at 3 and 5 o’clock in Coos Bay.
College Baseball:
The Oregon Ducks are on the diamond hosting the Washington Huskies in the first of three games to be played over the weekend. Tonight’s game is at 6 o’clock at PK Park… In Corvallis the Oregon State Beavers will host the USC Trojans a three game series at Goss Stadium, KCFM airs this afternoon at 3:30 pregame, first pitch at Coleman Field is set for 4 o’clock.
Prep Track and Field:
The Vikings will be competing at the Wally Ciochetti Invitational at Cottage Grove HS. Field events start at 2:00 PM and Running starts at 4:30 PM.
Emeralds Baseball:
The Eugene Emeralds stand alone atop the High-A West after a dramatic 8-4 win in ten innings over the Spokane Indians on Thursday night. The Ems and Indians face off in the fourth game of a six-game this evening in Spokane. With Tri-City’s loss to Vancouver on Thursday, the Emeralds are the lone remaining unbeaten team in the six-team circuit.
