Senior Night
Yesterday was senior day for both the Siuslaw Vikings softball and baseball program. Prior to the games yesterday teams recognized their senior players. For the boys, there are 4 players that will play their last game on Saturday: Elijah Blankenship, Chayton James, Clay Kramer and Dalton Stinger. For the Girls, three players will be moving on: Kya Blake, Adriana Edwards, and Lizbeth Garcia-Galvin.
Marist Posts No Hitters on Siulsaw
The Siuslaw Vikings went hitless in 5 innings yesterday against Marist. A string of walks in the fourth inning accounted for the Vikings only run while Marist managed 13 runs on 9 hits.
It was a very similar event at the softball field as Marist put up 19 runs on 11 hits in just 3 innings of play. The Vikings committed 5 errors and went hitless on the night.
The softball and baseball seasons end on Saturday with doubleheaders against Junction City at Junction City.
