Marist Defeat Vikings; Siletz Valley Over Mapleton; OSU Bounces Back; Ducks Face LSU

Marist Defeat Vikings

The Siuslaw Vikings were on the court over the weekend with a home game at Glenn Butler Court.  The Vikings hosted Marist and despite a fighting spirit from the Vikings the boys lost 51-36.  Brody Terry led the team with 20 fouling out with 2:30 to play in the game.

The Viking girls were also defeated by Marist 51-26.  For the Vikings, Gracie Freudenthal had her second double-double scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds.

Siletz Valley Over Mapleton

Mapleton was on the court against Siletz Valley on Saturday falling 36-21.  Freshman Keevyn Walker led the team with 8.  The Sailors only scored 2 points in the second half of the game and are now 3-4 on the year.

Mapleton Girls did not play.

OSU Bounces Back

The Oregon State Beavers bounced back after a Friday loss to Dallas Baptist  after the 6-5 loss the Beavers fought off McNeese state 10-5, Texas Christian 3-2 and got revenge on Dallas Baptist defeating them 5-4 in the double header last night.  OSU and Dallas Baptist will meet again today to close out the Regionals in Fort Worth.  Gametime on KCFM will begin at 12:30.

Ducks Face LSU

The Oregon Ducks held off a late charging Central Connecticut team on Friday 13-10 and defeated Gonzaga on Saturday 7-3, they faced the LSU Tigers yesterday losing 4-1 and will rematch the Tigers this evening to close out the regionals.  Game time is 7pm.
