Ems Close the Gap
The Eugene Emeralds picked up a full game last night as they defeated the Everett Aqua Sox 9-3. The Ems are only a half game back and have a chance to take a half game lead this evening as the stand continues at PK park. Last night a string of hits including a three run homer in the bottom of the second helped to propel the Ems to Victory. Second baseman Bret Auerbach was responsible for 5 RBI’s in the win as the Ems held the Sox to just 3 runs on 4 hits. The second game tonight begins at 7:05.
