Weekend Scores for Ems
Last night in Everett the Eugene Emeralds came up short for the second night in a row. The Ems had a chance to tie the game in the top of the ninth and came up one run short in the 7-6 loss. On Saturday night the Ems left the tying run on base and narrowly lost to the Aquasox 5-4. Friday night the Ems came out swinging and has a 4 homer night. The Ems almost gave up the win allowing the Aquasox to score 4 runs in the bottom of the eighth inning but held on to win 10-9. Next up for the Ems will be a 6 game series against the Tri-City Dust Devils at home.
