Ems Make up Ground
A loss by the Everett Aquasox and a win from the Eugene Emeralds moved the Ems a step closer to the first place spot in the High A West League. Last night the Ems in Hillsboro toppled the hops in extra innings the score was tied 6-6 after 9 innings. After a line drive single that scored Sean Roby to make it 7-6 Ems, Hops pitching loaded the bases for Tyler Fitzgerald who hit a grand slam to make the score 11-6. The Hops went 3 and out in the bottom of the inning ending the game.
