Viks Over Tigers
The Siuslaw Viking volleyball team posted their first home win last night as they took on Junction City. The Tigers fell to Siuslaw in 4 sets but gave the Vikings a great match 25-23, 19-25, 25-12, 25-18. Coach Kari Blake said the team jelled with every member contributing to the win. Desi Tupua continues to get the coaches accolades saying Desi contributed to a lot of scoring. Hailee Outlaw led with 11 kills followed by Mylee Blake with 10. Senior Hayden Muller had 23 digs and 16 perfect passes according to Blake. Siuslaw is now 3-1 in league play.
Viking Football
The Siuslaw Viking football team are at home this evening against Cascade Christian. It is the first of 3 straight home games and individuals can attend the game by purchasing tickets online. The game will be broadcast on KCST beginning at 6:45.
Viking Cross Country
Boys and Girls Cross Country will participate in the Woahink Lake Cross Country invitational tomorrow. Races begin at 11:45
College Football
The Oregon Ducks will be in California to meet the Stanford Cardinal tomorrow. That game will be at 12:30 with an 11am start time on KCST. The OSU Beavers host the Washington Huskies from Reser Stadium. That game will air on KCFM beginning at 5 pm.
