Vikings Hire New Track and Field Assistant

The Siuslaw Vikings welcome a new assistant Track and field coach.  The school recently hired the former Head Track and field coach from Reedsport High, Doug Pierce.  Pierce had been a volunteer assistant at Siuslaw before being hired.  According to Siuslaw Athletic Director Chris Johnson, Pierce’s duties will include working with sprinters and coaching the High Jump, but it will not be limited to them.  Johnson says the addition of Pierce adds stability and flexibility to the coaching staff.
