Pac-12 Round One
The Pac-12 tournament begins tomorrow and first up for the division will be the Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers. the Ducks are 18-13 overall and 11-9 in the Pac-12. They have defeated the Beavers in this season’s two previous meetings with the first meeting separating the two teams by just 2 points. The Oregon State Beavers though have been on a 17 game losing streak with some close games against some very tough opponents including 2 overtime losses one against USC and one against Washington State. The game will be covered on both KCST and KCFM beginning at 2 pm tomorrow.
No Athlete of the Week
There is no athlete of the week this week due to a break in Siuslaw and Mapleton Sports. Boys baseball will begin on March 15 and Track and field will begin on March 17. Softball for Siuslaw will begin on the 15th of March with new head Coach William Lipe.
