The Sports Club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports Congratulate senior Viking Baseball Player Isaac Garza. Isaac Pitched 5 innings against Coquille facing 20 batters and striking out 7 while holding the Red Devils to no runs. On offense he had 2 hits, 3 RBI’s and stole 3 bases in the 92 Victory on Friday.
Honorable Mention goes to Beau Erickson who went 2 for 3 from the plate with a double and 3 stolen bases.
College Baseball
The Pac-12 leading Oregon Ducks will host San Francisco for a 2 game series beginning today at 4 pm. San Francisco is 14-12 on the season.
The Oregon State Beavers will be on the road in Reno Nevada for two games beginning at 5 pm this evening and the second game will be played at noon on Wednesday.
