Siuslaw vs. Creswell
The Siuslaw Vikings managed 2 runs on 10 hits yesterday, but a 4 run 3rd inning by Creswell capped the action for the afternoon at Jiggs Dodson Field. Senior Beau Erickson had 3 hits and an RBI. He also pitched 4 and 2/3’s innings facing 16 batters and striking out 9 and allowed 1 run. Isaac Garza was the losing pitcher facing 9 batters with 5 walks and 3 earned runs.
Track and Field
Siuslaw Viking Track and Field will participate in the AMJ invitational at McKenzie High School tomorrow. First event is at 10:30.
Beavers/Trojans
The Oregon State Beaver’s will be in LA this weekend to take on the USC Trojans in baseball. Game on begins this evening at 6 pm with a 5:30 pregame on KCFM. Game two is tomorrow at 2 pm with a 1:30 pregame and Sunday will be a 1pm first pitch with a 12:30 pregame.
Oregon/Ball State
The Oregon Ducks will host Ball State for 4 games beginning at 4pm today with a double header on Saturday and a noon game on Sunday.
Hall of Fame – 2022
The Siuslaw Athletic Booster Club met earlier this week and are considering moving forward with a 2022 Hall of Fame Induction as well as a Booster Club auction to coincide with the Hall of Fame. Dates and times could be announced in the coming weeks. Most likely dates are early September.
