The Oregon State Beavers did not survive their outing with Vanderbilt last night losing 8-1 which means the Beavers will face elimination from the College World Series today. They are set to play Vanderbilt for the right to move ahead to the Super Regionals. The game is scheduled for a first pitch at 1 pm and KCFM will carry the game beginning at 12:30 today. The winner will move on to Omaha Nebraska for the next set of games. Vandy shut down the Beavers offense last night while driving in 8 runs on eleven hits. The Beavers only run came on a throwing error by Vanderbilt.
UCLA and Stanford are the other remaining teams from the Pac-12 in the tournament. UCLA’s game was suspended by rain the Bruins are facing Auburn. That game will be played today. Stanford will face Texas State again today after escaping elimination last night winning 8-4. Today’s game will play at 7pm.
