Minor League Baseball returns tomorrow night with the Eugene Emeralds on the road to face the Everett Aquasox in a 3 game series. The Ems are currently in third place and are one game behind the Everett. A series win will place the Ems in second place in the northwest league.
Another Beaver in MLB Draft
DJ Carpenter is the latest Beaver to get the call in the Major League Baseball Draft. Carpenter was chosen by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 14th round on Tuesday. Carpenter was a reliever for the Beavs appearing in 22 games with a 2-3 record. He joins teammate Cooper Hjerpe with the Cardinal organization.
