Viking Football; College Playoff Picture Unfolds

Viking Football

The Viking football team will be leaving today for their Saturday game against the Vale Vikings.  Travel through the pass is expected to be tricky, so the school has opted to take the freeway north and cross over to interstate 84 and down.  The trip will add 150 miles to the state playoffs.  Coach Sam Johnson says the trip is planned well

“We are going to stay in Boise Idaho, Thursday night, Friday night, practice at a couple of schools over there.  Chuck Johnson our P.E. and strength teacher at the school has a bunch of connections and so he got us a field and facilities to practice on.”

If you are planning to attend the game in person, you will need to bring your own chair.  There are no bleachers at the school.  Coast Radio will be broadcasting the game live and will also provide the audio for a youtube stream provided by the school.
