Vikings/Bobcats
The Siuslaw Vikings had a hard fought game against Myrtle Point last night at Glen Butler Court. In the end three points separated the two teams with Myrtle Point coming out on top 50-47. The Viking girls had a much tougher time against the Bobcats scoring just 7 points in the 49-7 loss. The Vikings move to league play on Friday and travel to sisters.
Sailors/Mustangs
The Mapleton Sailors were also on the court last night traveling to Mohawk. The Mustangs stifled the Sailor boys 52-24. Junior Keevyn Walker scored 19 of the 24 Sailor points in the loss. The Sailor girls also suffered a loss to the Mustangs 46-20. Next up for the Sailors will be Siletz Valley on the road.
