Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulate senior wrestler Hunter Petterson as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Hunter faced four wrestlers in Saturday’s Nick Lutz Memorial Tournament winning each by fall and taking first place in the 132 pound weight category and scoring 30 team points for the Vikings.
Honorable Mention goes to sophomore Joel Sissel who also took a first place finish in the Nick Lutz tournament in the 170 pound weight class. Also scoring 30 team points.
Sailor Basketball
The Mapleton Sailors will be on the court this evening from Crow. The sailor boys game will begin at 5:30. The girls game is cancelled . KCFM will carry the games beginning at 5:15.
