Mapleton Sailors
Mapleton Freshman Ramil Beers placed third yesterday in the 100 meters at the Waldport 2A Run For The Clover Meet. Junior Dom Stewart placed second in the High Jump with a height of 5’6” a personal record for him. Sailor freshman Natalee Stevens set a personal record in the 400 meter race at 1:19.11. Senior Samantha Cody took second in the high jump at 3’6”.
Siuslaw Golf
The Siuslaw Viking’s girls golf team is in the midst of a district championship tournament that continues today from Florence golf links. There is no current leader board information to pass on.
Viking Baseball/Softball
The Vikings will travel to Sisters tomorrow for a double header in baseball. The teams will meet for the first game at 2 pm. Coast radio, KCST will cover both games beginning at 1:45.
Siuslaw Softball will be at Sisters today for a double header beginning at 2 pm.
