Athlete of the Year Finalists
Student athletes are gathering this morning to see who will be the Athlete of the Year. The finalists for the boys are Kyle Hughes, Mason Buss, Sam Ulrich, Ryan Klampe, Hunter Petterson, Maximus Reynolds, Jonathan Rose and Ian Sissel.
For the girls the finalists are Macali Lade, Danin Lacouture, Jane Lacouture, Alison Hughes and Maya Wells.
Nike Outdoor
The Nike Outdoor Nationals begin today and go through Sunday. Siuslaw’s 4X400 relay team qualified for the nationals. Sam Ulrich will also run the 2K Steeple Chase
Super Regional Sold Out
The Ducks Super Regional games for this weekend have been sold out. They are still trying to get approval for temporary bleachers that could open up more seats and there are also the potential for seats that were allocated for the visiting Oral Roberts fan base. Fans can also arrive to Autzen Stadium to watch the game on the big screen. There will also be a FanFest beginning three hours before each game with food trucks, televisions and a beer garden. Friday’s game will begin at 5pm.
