Ems Deja’ Vu
Some might consider it Déjà vu, but last night in Hillsboro the Ems stomped the Hops with a second 13-1 victory. First Baseman Sean Roby also continued his home run hitting, smacking one over the fence with the bases loaded to start the 7 run first inning. Two other Ems also had home runs in the first. The Emeralds had 11 hits on the night allowing only 4 hits for the Hops. Game 3 this evening is at 7 pm in Hillsboro.
Siuslaw Coaching Staff
Siuslaw Superintendent Andy Grzeskowiak says as soon as Athletic Director Chris Johnson and principal Mike Harklerode return from break they will start the process of finding a new baseball coach. Former coach Tom Shinn will be staying on to teach at Siuslaw, but has stepped down from the coaching position for undisclosed reasons.
