9th Inning Homer Scores Win for Emeralds
It was a solo home run over the left field fence in the bottom of the 9th inning that won it for the Eugene Emeralds last night. It was Ems first baseman Sean Roby’s second dinger of the night that broke the 3-3 tie giving the Ems the edge over the Everett Aqua Sox. The Ems will try and even up the series this evening at PK Park. The game will be at 6:35. Tomorrow’s game will be at 5:05 and they finish up the series against Everett on Sunday at 4:05
Weekend Events
Two events will be held this weekend for Siuslaw Sports. The first will be the Hall of Fame inductions at the Florence Events Center. It will be held this evening at 6 pm with doors opening at 5. Tomorrow evening will be the Siuslaw Athletic Booster Club Auction. That event will be held at Three Rivers Casino Resort.
