College Baseball

Number 9 ranked Oregon State baseball hosted the Washington Huskies last night in Corvallis.  The Huskies came to town for a dogfight, jumping out to a 9-1 lead by the third inning before cruising to an 18-2 win.  The Beavers leave today for Beaumont, Texas for an Easter weekend series beginning Thursday against Lamar.

Number 15 Oregon hosted the Portland Pilots yesterday and Ducks took a tumble also.  The Pilots led Oregon 1-nothing headed into the ninth inning where they plated two more runs then held the Ducks scoreless to end the game.  The opening game of Oregon’s Easter Weekend series against Michigan in Ann Arbor has been moved up a day.  Game one is set for Thursday.  The final game of the series will be Saturday afternoon.
