Viking Soccer – Boys
The Siuslaw Viking boy’s soccer team fought Creswell on the field yesterday. The Bulldogs came out in the first half and scored 2 goals off long throw ins and the half ended with the Viks in a deficit. In the second half the Vikings struck back with a pair of goals, one from Derrick Van Duch and one from Charles Nelson. In the end the Bulldogs would score two more times for a 4-2 loss for the Vikings.
Mapleton Volleyball
Mapleton Sailor volleyball was on the court against Siletz Valley last night and won in four sets 25-19, 25-19, 20-25, 25-19. Junior Morgan Milbrett led the team with 5 aces and 3 assists with sophomore Averie Walker adding 2 aces and 3 kills and freshman Lucie Burruss contributing 3 aces and two kills.

Siuslaw Viking girl’s soccer dropped one last night to the Creswell Bulldogs 5-2.
