Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulate senior Harrier Braydon Linton as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Brayden had the 11th best time in Viking History in the 5,000 meter race at the third annual Rose City Championship invitational. With a time of 16:16.9 Taking 7th place overall out of 117 competitors.
Honorable Mention
Honorable Mention goes to Alison Hughes who had a personal record time in the girls 5,000 meter race with a time of 19:34.7, placing 4th overall and leading the Viking girl’s team to a first place victory
Scheduled Sports
On the schedule for today is boys and girls soccer. The Varsity boys will be in La Pine this afternoon for a 4:30 match and the Varsity girls will face Santiam Christian at 4.
Volleyball is on the road as well to Sisters with JV matches starting at 4:30 and Varsity to follow at 6pm.
