Viking Football
The Siuslaw Vikings head to Dayton, Oregon this evening to face the Dayton Pirates in a 3A playoff. Dayton is 9-0 on the season and has been extremely tough on all of their opponents. The Vikings have had some bright spots, but have struggled in several games as well. The Vikings are 5-4 overall but are coming off a 51-7 victory over Pleasant Hill. The game will be broadcast on KCST beginning with a pregame at 6:45 followed by a 7pm kickoff.
Cross Sountry Championships
Tomorrow the Viking Cross country team will be in Eugene for the OSAA State Championships. Competition for the girls begins at 10:35 and the boys begin at 11:10.
College Football
The Oregon State Beavers will be in Colorado tomorrow to face coach Deion Sanders and his hand-picked squad of Colorado Buffalo players for a game that will air on KCFM at 6pm with a 7pm kickoff. The Oregon Ducks will also play tomorrow against Cal. The pregame on KCST will be at 1 with a 2:30 kickoff.
Duck Basketball
Oregon Duck Basketball will also begin. The first game will be on Monday on KCST at 1pm against the Georgia Bulldogs.
Duck Football 2023 Schedule Released
The Oregon/Oregon state rivalry officially ends on November 24th. next season’s games for the Oregon Ducks will include former Pac-12 teams UCLA and Washington with the game against the huskies being the final game of the season.
