Viking Basketball
The Siuslaw Vikings, varsity boys and girls Basketball teams will host another home game this evening against North Valley. Tonight’s game has a 4:30 start time with the girls playing first. KCST will carry the game live and on Facebook beginning at 4:15 pm. Ryan Stahel and Ryan Denning will have the play by play.
Viking Wrestling
Viking wrestling will also be on the mat today at North Bend for the North Bend Coast Classic. Competition will begin at 1pm. The competition will conclude tomorrow with wrestlers hitting the mat at 9 am.
Mapleton Basketball
The Mapleton Sailors boys and girls basketball teams will be in Reedsport this evening to take on the Brave.
College Basketball
There is a lot of college basketball this weekend with the Ducks hosting UTEP for the men with a game time on KCST at 5:30 Saturday. The Duck Women will also be on the court this evening against Idaho. Both games are at Matthew Knight Arena.
The Oregon State Beavers will host Utah Valley in Men’s basketball tomorrow with a game time on KCFM beginning at 1:30 and a 2pm tipoff. The Beaver women will follow the men against Jackson State at 6pm.
OSU to induct Pat Casey to Hall of Fame
Oregon State has announced that retired baseball coach Pat Casey has been inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame. Casey led the Beavers to three national championships and 900 victories in his illustrious career.
