Viking Wrestling
Siuslaw Wrestlers will be on the mat today and tomorrow in the Grants Pass Winter Classic. The two day tournament will host 14 schools. Competition begins at 1 pm today and concludes tomorrow.
Viking Basketball
The Siuslaw Vikings boys and girls basketball teams will travel to Waldport this evening. The girls will play first at 6 pm. KCST will cover both games beginning with a pregame at 5:45. The game will also be live-streamed on the coast radio Facebook page.
Mapleton Basketball
Mapleton will have the weekend off but will be on the road for an early afternoon game on Monday to face Columbia Christian. The boys will play first at 2 pm followed by the girls at 3:30.
College Hoops
Sunday will be the day for college hoops for both Oregon and Oregon State. The Ducks will have an early game in Siuox Falls South Dakota where they will meet Syracuse. The Orangemen are 7-3 on the season and working on a two game win streak. The game will air at 10 am with a 9:30 pregame on KCST.
The Oregon state Beavers will have an 11:30 pregame on KCFM and will face the University of Texas San Antonio.
Duck Football
The Oregon Ducks are still ironing out their football schedule for the next two years. Changes have been made to the home schedule where there were 6 home games for the 2024 season they have now secured a 7th home game and the rivalry game with Oregon State has been secured for at least the next 2 years that will continue the tradition started in 1894.
