Ducks Over Bruins
It was a battle of runs on Saturday as the Ducks and the Bruins battled back and forth on the Hardwood. Ten lead changes throughout the game, but a couple of last minute shots including a long distance 3-pointer sealed the victory for the Ducks. Jackson Shelstad led the Ducks with 20 in the 64-59 victory.
Beavers Over Trojans
The Oregon State Beavers bounced back after their Thursday loss at home to the Bruins taking out the USC Trojans 86-70 on Saturday. Tyler Bilodeau led all scorers with 26.
Prep Basketball
The 8-4 Siuslaw Viking boy’s basketball team returns to the court on Wednesday. They will face Elmira at home. The boys will play at 6pm with a 5:45 pregame on KCST and the girl’s game will follow.
Mapleton Sailors basketball will also be on the court Wednesday. They will travel to Siletz Valley. The girls will play first at 5:30 followed by the boys.
