Mapleton Sailors Boy’s Basketball Victorious

Last night the Mapleton Sailors boys got their second league victory against the  Eddyville Eagles.  Coach Eric Wolgamatt said it was a defensive battle as the Sailors had a rough time on offense. Junior Alex Burnett and senior Keevyn Walker led the Sailors with 10 points each.  The 36-21 victory gives the Sailors a 10-2 record and are 2-0 in league play.

The Sailor girls dropped their game against the Eagles in a tight match losing 50-45.

Viking Wrestling

The Viking bus rolled in at midnight last night with the Wrestling team.  The team participated in the Yamhill-Carlton Duals yesterday.  The Girls Varsity team went 6-0 while the boy’s Dayne Muller and Jacob Mann went 2-0 each.

Ducks Comeback

After a half of play the Oregon Ducks trailed the Washington Huskies 36-30 but outscored the Huskies in the second half to take the victory 76-74.  Three Ducks were in double figures with Jackson Shelstad leading scorers with 17. The Ducks face Washington State on Saturday. Gametime 6:30 on KCST.

Cougars Top Beavers

The OSU Beavers lost their battle against the Cougars last night in Pullman 58-65.  They will head to Seattle on Saturday to face the Huskies with a 2:30 gametime on KCFM.

Lady’s College Hoops

The lady Beavers will see if they can make it 13-0 this evening as they take on USC in Los Angeles at 7pm.  the 9-5 Ducks will face #2 UCLA tonight at 7pm.
