Mapleton Boys Extend Win Streak

The Mapleton Sailor boys basketball team battled back and forth with the Triangle Lake Lakers last night as the first place and third place teams in the league.  Senior Keevyn Walker posted 20 points on the night including 3 3-pointers. Brian Burnett added 14 points and had 4 steals. In the end the Sailors defeated the Lakers 67-51.  They will now face Crow tomorrow evening at 5:30 with hopes of adding to their 12 game win streak.

The Sailor girls suffered their second loss in a row against the Lakers last night falling 37-46. They are currently in third place in league play.

Vikings Head to Sisters

The Siuslaw Vikings will head to sisters this evening for a battle up the mountain. Sisters boys team is 3-5 in league play and the Vikings are 3-4.  The boys game will follow the girls this evening.  The games will be broadcast on KCST beginning at 5:45 and the girls tip off at 6pm.

Viking Wrestling

The Viking Wrestlers are back on the mat today and tomorrow in the special district duals with 9 schools participating.  Competitions will be at Santiam Christian school

College Hoops

The Oregon Ducks grabbed a win on the road last night defeating USC 78-69 and face UCLA next tomorrow on KCST at 6:30.  The OSU Beavers lost to UCLA 63-71 and face the USC Trojans tomorrow at 3:30 on KCFM.
