Mapleton Wins Again
The Mapleton Sailors boy’s basketball team continue their dominance of the Mountain West league with a 62-13 win over the Mohawk Mustangs. The Sailors led 24-8 after one quarter and never looked back. Keevyn Walker led the sailors with 23 points. The sailors are 12-0 in league play and will have a rematch with the number 2 Crow Cougars tomorrow.
The sailor girls suffered a tough loss to the league leading Mustangs last night falling 29-35.
Vikings Host La Pine
The 11-10 Siuslaw Vikings will be hosting senior night tonight against the La Pine Hawks. The boys game will begin at 7:30. The girls are up first with a 6pm start time and a 5:45 pregame on KCST. The Vikings will then host Pleasant Hill on Saturday.
Wrestling Championships
The Viking wrestlers will be at the Special District Championships tomorrow at Sheridan High School. Competition will begin at 10 am.
College Hoops
The Oregon Ducks held off the Washington Huskies at home last night with a 85-80 victory. The OSU Beavers fell to the Washington State Cougars 58-64. The beavers face the Huskies tomorrow with a pregame at 3:30 on KCFM. The Oregon Ducks will host the Cougars at 1:30 on KCST.
