Ducks – Utes
On Saturday the Oregon Ducks finished up the regular season in basketball. The Ducks defeated the Utah Utes 66-65. The Ducks took the lead with just over 9 minutes to play on the clock and held the lead to the end even though the Utes stayed close. The Ducks defense held off the Utes as the Ducks struggled to find points as the clock wound down.
Beavers – Buffaloes
The Oregon State Beavers were held off by the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday. Colorado led for most of the game. Dexter Akanno led the Beavers in scoring with 15 points.
The Pac-12 tournament begins on Wednesday of this week. The Ducks will get a first round by while the Beavers will meet UCLA on Wednesday. The game will air on KCFM beginning at 2pm with a 2:30 tipoff.
Ducks – Sun Devils
After losing game on to the Arizona Sun Devils the Oregon Ducks took the series back with 6-4 win on Saturday and an 8-5 win on Sunday. The Ducks will host portland tomorrow at PK Park at 2:05. The Oregon State Beavers baseball team improve to 8-0 at home sweeping California State University Northridge finishing the series yesterday with a 9-7 win.
Siuslaw Baseball
Rain may put a dampening on the opening of Siuslaw Baseball. The team is expected to travel to Newport today to take on the Cubs. Pregame on KCST is at 4:15 weather permitting.
