Street Vault Cancelled
Inclement Weather has caused the cancellation of today’s street Vault competition. Siuslaw High School Athletic Director Chris Johnson says the forecast included rain and high winds which is not conducive to vaulting. He says they may look to bring it back after the end of Track and Field season.
Baseball/Softball
The Siuslaw Vikings will take part in a baseball tournament beginning today in Newport and will face Taft in the first round weather permitting.
Viking softball is scheduled for a double-header against Bandon/Pacific today.
Ladies Sweet 16
The Oregon State Beavers women’s basketball team will face Notre Dame in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament on Friday morning at 11:30. The game will be aired on ESPN.
