Vikings Suffer Loss

Siuslaw Vikings suffered their first loss of the season yesterday in a non-league game against Taft.  The Vikings managed only 2 runs while Taft slammed out 10 against the Viks.  The rest of the tournament has been rained out

Long Night for the Ducks

The Oregon Ducks were knotted up a 1-1 against Seattle last night in what turned out to be a long night for the Ducks.  In extra innings the Ducks allowed Seattle to get a three run lead in the 10th and had to go to the bottom of the 10th trailine 4-1.  The Ducks came back and tied it with 3 runs.  With two out and the bases loaded sophomore Drew Smith hit a ground ball single to left side bringing home the winning run. The game included a 75 minute rain delay.

Beavers in California

The Oregon State Beavers will play in California this evening against Southern Cal.  This evening’s game will air on KCFM beginning at 6pm with a 6:30 first pitch. Forecast for tonight’s game is partly cloudy and mid-sixties.
