Hawks / Vikings

The La Pine hawks dominated the Siuslaw Vikings in Baseball yesterday.  The double header was plagued with cold temperatures, rain, hail and wind during the almost 6 hours on the field.  the Vikings had only a few hits over the two games and managed only 3 runs total. Both games were shortened by the 10 run rule as the Hawks scored 13 in each game.  The losses put Siuslaw at 3-3 in League play but still in second place for the moment. The Vikings head next to Elmira on Tuesday.

Viking Softball

The Lady Vikings were also on the mound yesterday, their games had to be moved to Waldport due to the field conditions in Florence.  the Viking won the first game 13-12.  The second game had to be postponed for time and will be continued at some point in the season.
