The Siuslaw Vikings are scheduled to host the Sisters Outlaws in double-header baseball and softball this afternoon. First pitch for both contests begin at 2 pm and the second game is scheduled to follow soon after the completion of the first. Thugh rain is in the forecast it is projected to be mostly cloudy this afternoon with the possibility of some sunshine late in the day. KCST will cover the Baseball games beginning at 1:45.
The teams are also scheduled to play Harrisburg on Friday, but current weather conditions could push that game back again. The games were part of a makeup schedule from last week’s cancelled double-header.
Tomorrow in Cottage Grove is the Wally Ciochetti invitational track and field meet. This will be the final meet before the District championships on May 9th and 10th followed by the State Championships on May 16th and 17th.
